i would kill for this figure
well, not kill for it. but i’d love to play with it. lu-
Ok so create a post celebrating ” model diversity” the least you could do is include a couple models of color.
Or you know, some different body types. (Since these are all the same, and socially accepted, body types. Smfh)
Why?! Sheesh, Tumblr… some of you people really bother me. Yes, these are all socially accepted body types. These are healthy women too, though. Definitely not gals who eat poorly or don’t workout. To have this body you either have great genetics or a lot of hard work. Why do you do this Tumblr? Why poke at a post of beautiful women who are happy and in love with their bodies? Why is it necessary that you do that?! It is not necessary! Trust me, this is not the only image stream of posing ladies on this site, there are all types and colors of bodies out there, all of them just as beautiful as the next. Just because this is still the norm, doesn’t mean you have to hate on it. *grrr*
Please stop. STOOOOOOOOOOOOOP right there. People like you bother me. People who think fat = unhealthy and thin = healthy. For all you know every single one of these women have an eating disorder. For all you know not one of them works out ever. That is a form of body shaming, tyvm. I know fat people who are very healthy, both in their daily habits and in their health, but I bet you’d go on about how excess fat will kill their heart yadda yell because people like you are in complete denial because you’ve been spoon fed body shaming bullshit since birth.
Stop perpetuating the idea that being fat is bad and unhealthy, you are part of the problem.
This is not hate. I am very happy that they love their bodies (IF they love their bodies, something else you do not know.) I even love this photo set. What I do not love is that it says ‘DIVERSITY’ at the top and there is ZERO diversity in it. If that wasn’t at the top, I would have no issues. Trying to pass a little bit of plus size off as diversity is some grade A level bullshit.
I think in your rage ya’ll misunderstood the post altogether!
It’s says they are “Models of Diversity” which I interpret as being Diverse from the model body type norm. It doesn’t say anything about being a post of Diverse Models. It says nothing about colour, nationality or race. Can’t you all see, it’s the same everywhere, the post is not the problem, it’s everyone jumping to assumptions and creating a problem from something that was intended to be beautiful.
So people stop the crap, get off your high horses and enjoy the beautifully photographed and dressed Curvy women.
That’s the point, they’re not even diverse of the model body type norm. (and white or thin norms) This is a common and extremely acceptable body type now. No one is raging, at least not myself. It’s just extremely annoying at this point to have people say ~DiVERsi*y~ when there’s shit all for diversity. What’s diverse? Their hair colors I guess?
